Performance Coaching

If you are an athlete and you are interested in this line of coaching, then the chances are you are already accustomed to pushing through your threshold and challenging yourself. You understand that growth often comes from discomfort, and true excellence is achieved by continually testing and expanding your physical and mental limits. However, peak athletic performance is not just about physical ability—it’s about mastering the mind.
 

I believe the foundation of achieving greatness lies in the constant desire for growth and improvement. It's about always remaining curious and looking for those small 1% and 2% gains. As an athlete, you understand how important these small gains are. This level of progress can only be achieved through exceptional coaching, performance support, and a strong internal drive to be more accountable and self-reflective. My goal as your performance coach is to guide you in becoming extremely accountable and self-reflective about your daily efforts and performance while also maintaining a high level of confidence and fulfillment in what you do. This is easier said than done because your performance is often deeply influenced by the confidence that comes from within. The challenge is that self-reflection can sometimes lead to doubts, which can crush your confidence and ultimately affect your performance. So, how do we address this?

I will take you through a process to discover your deep internal needs and understand what drives you to do what you do. We dig into this because when you have setbacks, obstacles, or self-doubt, you will know what action to take—not only to get back on track but to bounce back stronger than before. This will also help with areas of life where you feel certain elements of guilt or limitation.
 

I will take you through a process to better understand where your confidence hinges and how to strengthen it from within, without undermining it through overworrying or self-criticism. This will allow you to review and reflect on your lead-up to game, match, or fight day performance while being distanced from the impact on your confidence, allowing you to see new areas of growth and improvement that you have previously not considered. Together, we’ll focus on increasing your resilient mindset to give you the mental fortitude needed to tackle any challenge that comes your way, even when the pressure is on or you have had a setback.
 

As part of this journey, we also talk about everyday life and the small existing challenges that may be interfering with the progress of your primary goal. Sometimes, the biggest performance breakthroughs come from addressing what’s happening off the field, in your personal life, or in your daily habits. By identifying these hidden obstacles, we can create a more complete approach to your success.
 

At the end of the day, performance is not just about skill it’s about the mindset that fuels it. When you understand yourself on a deeper level, strengthen your confidence from within, and develop an unwavering ability to overcome setbacks, you become unstoppable. Whether you’re striving for victory, longevity, or simply a greater sense of fulfillment in your sport, I’m here to help you push past your limits and achieve your full potential.
